We have been give 15 FREE tickets (for the first 15 people that fill out our register form) for a really interesting upcoming 2SLGBTQIA+ history event with the topic being the First World War happening on Thursday Feb 16th, 2:30pm-3:30pm at The Rooms. Here is a brief summary of the event:

2SLGBTQ+ (queer) history advocate and founder of the NL Queer Research Initiative, Sarah Worthman, will discuss her recent research exploration into government-led persecution of queer individuals in the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War. By sharing this history, she hopes to showcase the complexities of queerness in this period.
