(Uncovered): Sex at the Kitchen Table webinar series

Quadrangle NL with Community-Based Research Centre are currently creating a webinar series around sexual health called "(Uncovered): Sex at the Kitchen Table" a more relaxed setting to talk about sex with the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. The overall vibe of the webinars is meant to recreate a talk with friends about experiences and knowledge. Starting on Oct 3rd 2020 until Mar 20th, 2021 on scheduled Saturdays at 6PM(NT). This is a community-driven project stemming from Pivot St. John's, a 4 day community health leadership program for 2SLGBTQIA+ people in St. John’s held earlier this year. The participants of this program are developing this 8-part webinar series around their chosen topic of inclusive sexual education and healthcare.

So grab your cup of tea and join us as we discuss sexual health, identities, sexualities, proclivities and more; yes, even the taboo stuff. Sexual health education is an ongoing, and essential process, but is often lacking from dominant/ mainstream education systems. We are often given misinformation, or no information, leading many communities erased from conversations about sex and sexuality, and a lack of safer sex practices within.

Register for the engaging, intersectional, authentic, and sexy conversation that will bust myths, provide support and resources, and leave you wanting more. Sign up for all 8 parts or just the ones you find most interesting.
